The Tillett P1 Kart Rib Protector is designed to deliver high-performance rib protection without the bulk that can compromise comfort or kart seat fit. Developed using Tillett’s extensive experience in karting, the P1 uses a sophisticated multi-layer construction to help dissipate impact energy and spread loads across the driver’s torso.

High-impact composite internal panels are combined with specialist energy-absorbing foam to create excellent protection while maintaining a remarkably thin profile. This allows the P1 to sit naturally between the driver and kart seat without significantly altering the fit or driving position.

Comfort is equally important. A soft Lycra inner surface sits comfortably against the driver, while the elasticated shoulder harness moves with the body during driving. The adjustable rear section allows the protector to suit both straight and V-shaped torsos, and the elasticated front strap provides a secure fit without restricting breathing.
